(context: Shu was talking to chat about doing ranked Valo on stream. Chat suggested to do stream delay like he did in the Valo customs (to avoid stream snipers) but he said there was no point in streaming if he couldn't talk to chat in a solo stream.)

👟: Well ok, the thing is,

you would, because you said so,

but like, you can't assume that for everyone.

(laughs) That's just how it is.

You can't just expect every single person on the internet to just randomly be like,

"Oh shoot, Shu Yamino? I'm not gonna snipe him, he's Shu Yamino!"

Like, that's kinda scary if that's the case because what the heck, why would you do that?

Like I'd rather have people misbehave.

(laughs) Like, if everybody behaved, I'd be scared.

I'd be scared and I feel like there's gonna be some kind of conspiracy behind the scenes that's like getting me into this situation. 

 

👟: I'd be so scared.

Like if everybody in chat was following all the rules, I'd be more scared.

I'll be like, stop that. (laughs) S-Stop that! Like there's no way..

It's like you're a teacher and you give your students an exam and they all give back perfect answer sheets. Like 100% correct.

At that point, you start doubting yourself. There's something wrong, there's something that's going on, right?

Like.. what? (laughs) Like at that point, there's something going on.

👟: I enjoy some banter.

💬: Wow so you don't want chat to be good?

I would be more scared if everyone in chat was like, very very nice.. right?

Like, I get a little scared when everybody in chat is like, you know, overly protective and stuff I guess.

👟: No, it's just like..

👟: Yo, there's so many purple vtubers now, you can't (laughs) Like, what?

💬: You're THE puple vtuber

👟: ..what? (laughs)

I would kinda understand if you say 'the only banana vtuber'

I mean, there are other banana vtubers probably out there

👟: oh ok...

👟: but honestly if I were to be real,

I would probably like,

I am more inclined to read chat that's like roasting me than chat that's like "wow.. Shu, you're so.. uh wow!" you know?

Something creative. When people say something creative,

when people say something like, unique I guess? which tends to be people who like literally roast the crap out of me.

So I find enjoyment in unique chats and that's what I tend to read.

Uniqueness and creativity, you know? I really appreciate those. 

 

 

💬: It's the first time I've heard the liver ask for this.

👟: Yeah because people don't ask for this.

But like, a lot of chats I think, like a lot of streamers-

ok this is my opinion, like it can't be everyone, like it's not a one size, fits all kind of thing

but a lot of streamers would appreciate chat that's not like completely the same thing chatting over and over because how do you react to that?

Like if everyone just types "lol", you can't react to that, right?

(everyone in chat starts typing lol and Shu reads the lols)

👟: oh my gosh, League brain

See, I wasn't able to react to all the lols but the moment someone said League, I reacted.

I reacted to League of Legends out of everything I could react to, you know?

That means something (laughs)

But yeah, I think even since I was a viewer of like Nijisanji streams

what do you call it, I've noticed a lot of unique comments, creative comments that stand out, pretty much.

Oh my gosh I feel like I'm talking about Nijisanji auditions

But if you stand out, there's a higher chance that people will read your chat.

That's all it comes down to I think. A lot of people appreciate that.

💬: ok then League stream when

👟: oh, that's something I don't get asked usually.. what the heck? League stream?
